Mega Agency

A fun interactive desktop & mobile experience for the launch of the new Mega Agency website.

Role: Interaction designer & developer

I was invited to create an interaction for the launch of the new MEGA website…

Live Site: mega.agency

Firstly I setup a development ‘experiment’ area for the Mega team. This was a site where I saved and numbered all variations of the experiments so we could all keep track of progress and refer back to them later if we needed to.

The outcomes needed to work across all devices, mobile, tablet and desktop so this was considered from the start.

The final interaction was built in HTML5 canvas, which allowed me to create a single element so it could easily be integrated into their new WordPress site and performance-wise worked best for this kind of interaction keeping a silky-smooth experience throughout.

“Jason approached us with an idea (he’s got a lot of them) — Not a CV or portfolio. Just an idea that he thought we might like. He wasn’t looking for money or a job but a platform to express his creativity. We liked his work so much that we gave him a paid brief. The results were great and if he ever fancied moving to the South Coast he’d have a seat at our table."
